For an active, late-stage technology role, ReverseRef finds former direct reports, verifies that they actually reported to your prospective manager, and interviews them about what the working relationship was like. We never contact the hiring manager or the company. Nothing is published: no manager profiles, no public reviews, no searchable database. The report goes to you and no one else.
Every request is reviewed by a person, every reporting relationship is human-verified, and every interview is conducted by a human. No AI voice or chatbot ever talks to participants.
You get a private, role-specific brief that shows which patterns repeated across sources, where accounts differed, what the interviews could not establish, and which questions to ask before you decide. Participant names and contact details stay out. Each participant reviews the synthesis drawn from their interview and can correct, narrow, or remove it before delivery.

A note from the founder
I have hired a lot of people and I have been the candidate too. A candidate can do everything right in a process and still have no real idea what it is like to work for the person across the table. Employers get structured diligence. Candidates should get some too, about the one relationship that will shape their scope, growth, and daily work.
