Yesterday #Colors & fonts showed a spike: ~800 visitors in 2 hours.

Turned out it was one scraper in a Singapore datacenter running headless Chrome. It sends a normal Chrome user agent and runs the tracking script like a real browser, so it passed every bot check.

#Kobbe analytics now drops traffic coming from cloud server networks (AWS, GCP, Azure...) and browsers that report they're automated. VPN users are untouched.

I refunded my three customers at #Colors & fonts after making the app free. Premium features are now available with sign-in.

No more paywall.

Now that I got Colors & fonts validated I am rebuilding the whole app with Astro & Shadcn.
