I’m looking for advice from fellow builders because I’m honestly at a loss.

For months I’ve used my personal X account to document the software products I’m building and participate in the startup community.

Recently, another X account began using the PandaChat name, branding, and content. PandaChat is a registered EU trademark owned by my company (EU Trademark No. 018896574).

The account publicly announced a PandaChat token launch, despite the fact that PandaChat has never created, authorized, or endorsed any cryptocurrency or token. I first tried resolving this privately, then reported it through X’s official process.

The report was rejected.

Shortly afterwards, my own X account was permanently placed into read-only mode for “spam or platform manipulation.” I appealed, but the appeal was rejected without identifying a single post or activity that violated the rules.

The part I struggle to understand is that the account using our registered brand remains active, while my own account is restricted and I still don’t know what specific behavior supposedly violated the X Rules.

I’m not claiming these events are connected because I simply don’t know. I’m genuinely trying to understand how founders are expected to protect their brands while also navigating platform enforcement with no explanation of what actually triggered it.

If anyone has experienced something similar, knows someone on the X Trust & Safety team, or can help me reach the appropriate team for a proper manual review, I would be incredibly grateful.
